I trained for a number of years as a psychotherapist and am registered with the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (MNCPS Acc). My qualifications in psychotherapy include a Post-Graduate Certificate in Advanced Counselling Skills and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy (level 7).
I also have an earlier Master’s Degree in a different field (MA(Oxon)). I would describe myself as an integrative, existential, relational psychotherapist. I have worked with many clients both through my training process (which is arduous and long) and also in private practice as well.
Additionally, I have audited multiple courses at 2 different theological colleges, in the UK and South Africa, while accompanying my husband during his ministerial training years. I have a long history of leadership in women’s ministry, youth work and youth camps. These experiences and nearly 30 years of Christian ministry give me a solid Biblical foundation for my current work.
I have been married for 24 years to my husband, Mark, a clergyman in the Anglican Convocation Europe, and we have 3 grown-up and almost-grown-up children.
